Wilbur Lee Claude#

Wilbur Lee Claude, age 86, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at his home in Verona, Mo. 

He moved to Lawrence County, Mo., when he was a young man, working at several different occupations for a period of 28 year. Earlier in life he moved to Concordia, Mo.,where he worked at St. Paul's College High, as superintendent of buildings and grounds and receiving an Associates of Arts Degree in General Business. He attended Concordia University in Milwaukee, Wisc., and graduated as a Commissioned Lay Minister serving churches in Kansas and Oklahoma. In 1996 he retired and moved back to Verona. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt, Mo.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Alan Claude and his wife, Jacqueline, of Houston, Tx.; three daughters, Lee Schoonover of Pierce City, Georgia Burson and her husband Max, of Wichita, Kansas, and Anita Taylor of Monett; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and a host of friends and relatives.

A graveside service was held on February 4, 2013, at Zion Cemetery, south of Mt. Vernon, with a memorial service following at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt.

On Sunday morning, 2/17/2013, Deaconess Addie Wilkins, a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church, passed into Glory.

The funeral is Saturday morning 2/23/2013 at 10:00 am at Transfiguration Lutheran, 1807 Biddle, St. Louis, 63106.
   

Reverend Kenneth Fischer

Fischer, Reverend Kenneth asleep in Jesus on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 50 years to Sheila Fischer (nee Stein).
 
Dear father of James (Martha Mendez) Fischer, Todd Sr. (Laura) Fischer and Lisa Fischer (James) Jacobsmeyer. Loving grandfather of Michelle Fischer, Kenneth Fischer, Brittany Fischer, Todd Fischer Jr., Justin Fischer, Eric Jacobsmeyer, Sy Jacobsmeyer and Hanna Jacobsmeyer.
 
Reverend Fischer was a graduate of Concordia Seminary and spent 50 years as a Minister in the L.C.M.S. Services: Funeral service at the St. John's Lutheran Church, 2149 Lutheran Church Road, Beaufort, MO, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
 
If desired, contributions may be made to the Heart Transplant Association or Lutheran Senior Services Hospice Care. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, Ballwin, MO, Friday 4-8 p.m. and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
