Philippians Workshop

November 23, 2024

Concord Hall, Hope Lutheran, Shawnee KS

Hope Lutheran, Shawnee, KS and their Board of Stewardship & Mission Support will host The Philippians Conference on Saturday, November 23 in Concord Hall from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Philippians Conference is a one-day workshop designed for pastors and lay members of our congregations to explore the theology and practice of stewardship. It emphasizes the joint efforts of church leaders and lay "partners in the Gospel" in fostering a culture of stewardship.

The conference will be led by the Rev. Dr. Nathan Meador, LCMS Stewardship Assistant, and aims to provide a solid scriptural and confessional foundation for both individual and congregational stewardship, encouraging local churches to assess and enhance their stewardship practices. Attendees, including pastors, elected leaders and congregation members, along with pastors and members from neighboring circuit LCMS churches, will leave with actionable insights to immediately implement in their stewardship activities.
