The July edition of The Voice highlights the importance of Christian community with a reflection from President Rev. Dr. R. Lee Hagan on how God gathers His people—from the waters of Baptism to the shared grief of funerals, and in events like the Missouri District Convention and national gatherings. This issue includes a recap of the 2025 District Convention in Columbia, where delegates united under the theme “Bold Hope in Christ” to worship, elect leaders, and reaffirm their shared mission. We also celebrate the 57 Missouri Lutheran schools currently accredited through National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA), recognize the growing momentum of intergenerational discipleship, and introduce President Hagan’s new book: Faithful, Hopeful, and Bold.
