Our cell phones chime and buzz with many daily alerts. We have reminders from our friends and family, our calendar, current events, traffic, weather and news. In Luke 10:02, Jesus makes a big announcement. It’s a mission alert and a call to prayer:

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
