Rev. Orval Mueller

On November 19, 2019, Rev. Orval Mueller was called to glory at the age of 81. Rev Mueller graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 1964 and spent 24 years in the Ministry before serving as President of the Southern District until 2003. After retirement Rev. Mueller moved to Florissant, MO where he continued to serve as Pastoral Assistant at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran.

Rev. Mueller was a born December 3, 1937 in Clayton, MO and raised at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Olivette where he was baptized, confirmed, and ordained. Rev. Mueller and his wife Clara Rittmann (daughter of LCMS missionaries to South India) were married 57 years. Rev Mueller is survived by his wife, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many other beloved family and friends.

Pastors are invited to attend and participate in the procession. White stoles will be worn in remembrance of the resurrection and for the Eve of Christ of the King Sunday.
Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation
Friday, November 22  5-7 p.m. and
Saturday, November 23  9 a.m. until funeral service start at 10 a.m.
