Rev. Robert L. Eggers was called home to glory on Wed. Apr. 10, 2019. He is survived by his wife Carol, and his children, Hillary and Andrew Rayo, Paul and Courtney Eggers and Laurel and Aaron Newell. He was also a cherished grandfather of eight and preceded in death by his daughter Leigh Anne.

Rev. Eggers received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 1985. He then served at Trinity Lutheran Church (Alma, MO), Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (Sioux City, IA), St. Paul Lutheran Church (Battle Creek, IA), Christ Lutheran Church (Remsen, IA) and Trinity Lutheran Church (Park Hills, MO). He became Emeritus in 2013.

The Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., Sat. Apr. 13, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church—4355 Butler Hill Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to ALS Association or  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are appreciated.
