Luther DeCuir

November 15, 1941 – December 22, 2019

Luther was born to Arstille and Evelyn DeCuir and has one sister Phyllis DeCuir.

Luther is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gloria. His children: Lance DeCuir, Rhonda (John) Nicholas, Darren (Marcy) DeCuir, Pete (Angie) DeCuir, Judd (Desiree) Locher, and sister Phyllis DeCuir.  Luther was very proud of his fifteen surviving grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins

Luther was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.

Luther was a Marine Corp veteran and later served three churches in Missouri as a Director of Christian Education – Grace Lutheran in Carthage, St. Mark’s Lutheran in Eureka, and Our Redeemer Lutheran in St. Louis.  He obtained his Masters degree in Professional Counseling and served as a Licensed Professional Counselor with Lutheran Children and Family Services of Missouri.
