The Missouri District Lutheran Jr. High Retreat is returning this Spring on March 29-31 around the theme, “One.” Our focus this year is the Sacrament of the Altar. The cost is $120 per person.

Our Presenter
Rev. Matthew Ryan Gonzalez was ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry on The Presentation of the Augsburg Confession, June 25, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Manchester, New Jersey. Installed on July 24, 2011, Pastor Gonzalez continues to serve at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church -The Bronx, NY, where the congregation “exists to receive and share God’s gifts.” Pastor Gonzalez is thankful to witness the beautiful work of the Lord, shepherding the people of God with the Lord’s guidance.

New band! This spring, we welcome back the talented Bread of Stone as our band for the weekend.

Who can go? Youth: Youth primarily in grades six, seven and eight. Adult counselors: Approximately one for each seven youth (male counselors for male youth and female counselors for female youth).

What will we do? There is a multi-session Bible study based on the theme, plus games, fellowship, community building, a talent show and worship. We will have servant event time on Saturday afternoon. The “Saturday Night Fun Fest” includes a bonfire, board games, basketball, music and karaoke.
