Rev. Wilfred L. Ziekert, age 92, of Branson, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in Branson. Born on February 7, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois to Adolph and Hilda Ziekert. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Ziekert. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 59 years; his sisters Leonore Wahl (Elgin, Illinois), Beverly Slawin (Arlington Heights, Illinois), and Nancy (Keith) Follman (Hampshire, Illinois); his daughters Sara Rolf and her husband Jonathan (Millersville, Maryland), Lora Vomhof and her husband Lowell (Perham, Minnesota), and Kathy O’Dea (Millersville, Maryland); nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Rev. Ziekert served 66 years as a Lutheran pastor, he also served other congregations in New York, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, and Kansas.

A celebration of his life in Christ will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 14 at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Missouri.
