Paul G. Crisler

October 8, 1937 – October 23, 2023

Paul Gilbert Crisler passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the age of 86.

Paul was the son of the late Gilbert and Nellie Crisler (nee Allmeyer); loving husband of Carolyn Crisler (nee Madorin) of 37 years; dearest father of Jennifer (Dean) Fournie, Jeff Baxter and Jill (Ken) Collins; dear grandfather of Cole, Cade Fournie, Blake, Taylor, Lauren, Ella Baxter, Rachel and Luke Collins; brother of Mary Crisler and Ruthie (Fred) Gentry; uncle of Julie (Chuck) Rose and Cherie (Kip) Meador; brother-in-law of Marilyn (the late Robert) Rathmacher and Ray (Barb) Madorin; dear great-uncle, great-great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Paul was a 1960 graduate of Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, Illinois.  Paul served at St. Jacobi Lutheran School in Jennings from 1960-1966.  He spent most of his career at Lutheran High School North in Saint Louis from 1966-2004, ending as principal.  He was principal from 2004-2006 at Green Park Lutheran School in Saint Louis and principal at Lutheran High School South in Saint Louis from 2006-2008.

Memorial visitation will be Sunday, October 29, from 1:00 p.m. until memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 5252 S. Lindbergh Blvd., Saint Louis, MO  63126.
