Protect My Ministry: Child Safety Training
The Missouri District is pleased to provide Child Safety Training at no cost for our congregations and schools. This training is available for employees and volunteers who serve with children and youth. A Spanish-language option is also available.
Request Training
Creating safe environments for children and youth is an important part of every congregation and school's ministry. To support these efforts, the Missouri District provides Protect My Ministry Child Safety Training at no cost to LCMS Missouri District congregations and schools.
To request training, please complete the following form for each participant:
Once the form is submitted, the Missouri District office will set up the training and send each participant an email invitation.
Training Options
Participants may be enrolled in one of the following online training courses:
- Employee Training – Full training (approximately 1 hour)
- Volunteer Training – Condensed training (approximately 35 minutes)
- Spanish Training – Full training in Spanish (approximately 1 hour)
A valid email address is required for all participants.
Completing the Training
Participants will receive an email invitation with instructions for accessing the training. The training includes a video course and a brief assessment.
Training invitations remain active for 14 days from the date the invitation is sent. Please encourage participants to complete the training promptly.
Upon successful completion, participants should view, save, and print their certificate of completion and provide a copy to the congregation or school office for its records.
Expired Training Invitations
If a participant does not complete the training within the 14-day period, the invitation will expire.
To request a new invitation, please contact the Missouri District office and we will be happy to reinitiate the training.
