Main Presenter, Brad Alles

Brad Alles is an Assistant Professor of Education at Concordia University Wisconsin.  He graduated from Concordia University Nebraska with a Bachelor’s degree in education, and received his Master’s degree in Christian education from Concordia University Chicago. Known for his ability to breakdown Scripture so it’s easily understood and applied, adding humor along the way, he is a frequent Bible study teacher at Milwaukee area churches. In addition, he is a featured speaker at state and national youth gatherings, as well as youth worker, teacher, and pastor conferences.  His passion for God’s Word comes through clearly in his teaching style. His family lives in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Lodging

Cross Pointe Retreat Center features hotel-style lodging (most rooms feature 2 Queen beds to house up to 4 youth per room).  During the retreat we will make use of the large worship center for our general sessions, break-out rooms in several of the retreat center’s buildings, and large indoor recreation center.

If we’re honest with ourselves, the uncertainty of life often makes us uncomfortable, anxious, and even downright scared. Together, we’ll explore how the true Gospel of Christ brings certain hope that everything is going to be OK, even when it doesn’t appear that way.

So you’re going to lead a Bible Study or Small Group:  (ADULTS & YOUTH)

This session is  intended for equipping and enabling leaders of all ages to create and lead in bible study and small group discussions. Adults and youth are welcome to attend. We will cover how to deliberately plan a small group discussion and have those attending be given the best opportunity to participate

Any question is a good question… within reason! Seriously though with a panel of Youth Directors and more we want to spend time in an open discussion with you! Ask any question you want about faith, scripture, life and more and we will have our panel of leaders take time answering your questions.
